I am honored to be a part of Girlz with a vision Mentoring Group, which according to their mission statement, ’empowers and inspires girls to overcome the challenges of negative influences and create a positive change within themselves and their communities.’

Parents; 2019, open enrollment for Girls ages 9-18 is on! Hurry and sign them up! 

They participate in various events throughout the year, among which is the Annual Skate with Santa Toy Drive, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. 

It’s not too late to drop off a toy now through December 13th, 2018, at 530 Beacon Parkway W, Birmingham, 35209.  You could also make a donation to the organization using the link below and make a difference.

Juliet; a dear childhood friend of mine, through her mentoring organization; Juliet Migwi Inspires, helps vulnerable children growing up in poverty, realize their potential, self actualize, creating for themselves a future with better prospects.  She’s also an author, currently running a ‘Drop-A-Star Drive’, which involves adopting a children’s home or community center by helping her accumulate hard copy books to donate to that Home or Center.
